About Meg.

Merhaba, you probably could have guessed my name is Meg, I’m 25 and half Turkish Cypriot—my dad was born in Cyprus. I grew up in Essex and after conquering my fear of flying, and I have grown to LOVE travelling, being lucky enough to explore some of the most beautiful parts of the world!

Although I was absolutely petrified, I have also done some solo travelling to Asia and Africa, Tanzania where I taught English in a Maasi village school – an incredible experience. I love embracing different cultures and ways of life – so this site is all of that completely unwrapped.

My full time work is in the Health Tech industry, where I have worked between Business Admin, Project Management and Marketing. I’ve been blessed to travel with my work to places including Canada, Sweden, Belfast and Portugal.

Outside of my travels, my other hobby and passion is hairstyling, especially bridal styles (check out hairstyledbymeg *wink*) – something I hope to also grow one day!

Anyway I won’t babble on anymore, welcome to my world and my little space on the big wide web. I’ve got so many ideas for @travelledbymeg, it really is just the start and I really hope I can grow this platform. You can find all my blogs here.
