tanzania ITINERARY – part 2.
This is part 2 of my Tanzania 11 day trip. I went on a 2 day safari, visiting the famous Tarangire National Park first and then onto the Ngorongoro Crater. For a run down of my full safari experience, my YouTube video will be coming soon!
DAY 1
- Picked up from my host family @ 8am
- Driven to Tarangire National Park
- First half of the morning on my first park drive!
- Lunch at the view point – unreallll VIEWS
- Second half of the day searching for more animals
- Visited a local market
- Taken to our accommodation – Camping hostel
- Dinner with everyone
- A special dance show was performed for us!
DAY 2
- Up and out super early to go to the Ngorongoro Crater – very hazy & magical
- We got our first siting of a lion & dead wildebeest!
- Lots of Antelope & Wildebeest, Zebras all roaming free & running in big herds.
- Buffalo sightings, Ostriches, Elephants, a Hippo
- Lunch at the hippo lake, big beautiful Bonsai tree
- Safari finished & back to reception
- A BABOON JUMPED IN THE TRUCK…
- Stopped off at a beautiful Tanzanian art shop, artwork & sculptures, & map of Tanzania
Returned back to the host family for my final day of teaching, teaching itinerary here
